Introduction

Electrolysis/ Electrocautery

Electrolysis is suitable for men and woen and is the only one medically approved treatment for permanen hair removal.

Electrocautery and advanced Electrolysis are also very effective treatments for removing thread veins.  It involves inserting a very fine needle into the thread veins and applying a tiny amount of electric current. The needle destroys all the tissue it touches and the body then heals and repairs the area .

  • Electrolysis is permanent hair removal. Regardless of the cause, heredity, metabolism, or hormones, electrolysis hair removal will provide permanent results.

A sterile probe is inserted into the hair follicle and a small amount of electrical current is released, this damages the area where the follicle gets its nourishment, the hair is then removed with tweezers.

  • Electrolysis hair removal is the only permanent hair removal alternative to a lifetime of temporary hair removal.  Electrolysis destroys the growth cells preventing hair growth in the future because the follicle is inactivated.  Electrolysis has been scientifically proven and is in the medical journals as the only method of permanent hair removal.

  • Electrolysis is safe and effective for all hair, regardless of type or colour.  It is also a safe and effective permanent hair removal procedure for any part of the face or body.

Electrolysis hair removal requires a series of treatments because all hair grows in stages.  The number of treatments depends on several factors, which include density and thickness of the hair, previous temporary removal methods, ability to tolerate the current etc.

Electrolysis hair removal feels like a heat or pinching sensation.  Some areas of the body are more sensitive than others and tolerance varies from person to person.  With proper aftercare there are no long-term side effects.  Temporary reactions could include redness, swelling, and tenderness, but they all subside.

Electrocoagulation is a procedure that uses a high-frequency electrical current that causes the coagulation of blood or other tissues to treat skin blemishes.

Most people find the treatment very tolerable, there may be a mild tingling or pinching sensation on the treatment area.

With proper after care there are no long-term side effects.  Short term there may be redness, tenderness, and occasionally mild swelling.

Electrocoagulation has been in use for the treatment of minor skin conditions for many years and has been found to be safe and effective.
